I don't know wether thats really the case, I guess the answer is to be found in the documentation of Berkley DB b) Developer specific settings in the project file, these are things such as the working dir, the full path to the executable, the path to qmake and other such things. These should ideally be split from the non-developer-specific settings, like the buildsystem-type, the name of the project, the VCS to be used and maybe a few more.
