The files I step through/into are in the project although obviously they include \
                headers outside it.  The internal commands contain many commands such \
                as:
-var-create KDEV77 * "widget"
-var-evaluate-expression "KDEV82
print ($kdev_s>0) ? (*((char*)&$kdev_d.data[0]) $kdev_s) : ""
-var-update *
The latter being particularly slow.

If there is anything I can do to make life easier for gdb I'd love to know about it.  \
Part of the problem may be that the files are stored in clearcase which can slow down \
access a fair bit.
