Summary: Update old project option in "Projects" menu tab.
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.4.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: laughton.andrew gmail com

Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

*** KDE requires autoconf 2.52, 2.53 or 2.54 but 2.60 is loaded but will not run.
It seems the fix to this is to create a new project and start again.
Not obvious and not intuitive.

Can we get an extra option in the "Projects" menu tab that will update the project \
settings to use currant versions of automake and autoconf. And / or an extra button \
in the "project->project options" tab to update settings?

And a popup window when opening the project, or possibly when building the project to \
warn people that the project is using old settings, with options to update, ignore, \
ignore forever.

Keep up the good work.
