Still can't reproduce.

Note that if you have "enable seperate terminal for application IO" in the debugger \
settings (project -> project options -> debugger) enabled and run the program to \
completion, the seperate konsole will close. 

Are your 'cout' statements terminated with 'flush' or 'endl'? If not, it's possible \
that your printouts are simply not flushed to the console leaving you nothing to see.
