Summary: optional automatic breaking at main
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: cbruner quadro net

Version: 3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be useful at times to be able to automatically stop the program before things get set \
up and run. Usually when this is required it is required for the whole editing/debugging \
session, and of course the program may change during that period, invalidating manually set \
breakpoints.

It is possible to manually set the breakpoint at main each time the debugger starts, but as \
main may not be in the file you are working on, you must open the file where main is, find main \
and then set the break point. If you are working on dozens of projects, each having a main, \
this quickly becomes tedeous.

My wish is that there is an option in kdevelop to have the program automatically break at main. \
Some people may never use it, but I suspect others will appreciate it.
