If you select the subproject in Qmake Manager toolview, the newly created class will \
go there. Otherwise it will go into the first subproject (which is automatically \
selected). In case you don't have a subproject selected in QMake manager (or have \
root ("/") subproject selected), the QMake manager will ask about the destination \
subproject. So, closing as "worksforme". Feel free to reopen if the above behavior is \
not present.
