I am using KDevelop 3.3 on Linux, and Exceed V7.0 (on Windows) as my X server. I am \
having a problem with selecting characters using the keyboard - only when the active \
editor is the "embedded advanced text editor". Whenever I hold down the SHIFT key, \
and try to select text using the arrow keys, nothing happens. (I can select text \
using the mouse, and I can use the SHIFT+arrow technique in other applications, such \
as "gedit"). The same bug exists in "kate" and "kwrite".
