I've checked. No, undefined symbols are not a problem.
I've tried running kdevelop with an empty profile (no plugins at all). It doesn't \
crash. After adding FileSelector to a profile, the whole thing started to crash with \
the backtrace you can see below. The only thing frightens me a bit in the backtrace \
is that KMDI classes are mentioned... Are there other KMDI applications that mix \
several kxmlgui clients to create an application GUI? We need to check whether they \
crash.
