The Kdevelop ctags2 plugin expects a tags file built by exuberant ctags and crashes if the tags \
file format is generated by some other ctags program. To avoid these problems, run "which \
ctags" (or find, locate, whereis, etc.) and if a non-exuberant ctags executable is first in \
your path, move it out of the way and link ctags to your exctags executable (eg. (cd /usr/bin \
&& mv ctags ctags.old && ln -s /usr/local/bin/exctags ctags) ).
