I'm sorry to be so dumb but to add that to the end of the -I line do I
place a colon between the two paths? or put -I again? Just want to
make sure that its right..

That line tells the command line interpreter to use perl to interpret the
script and to include the directory /usr/local/...
You need to add a: -I/path/to/perl/libs
to the end of that line
