Yes, and no :) The ps command was to see if you have 2 mysqld processes running, but \
of course I should have asked you to do an akonadictl stop first. Was akonadi running \
when you did the ps command above? If it was NOT, you should try to kill the mysqld \
process that's yours (pid 5173 I guess), and try to start akonadi, because in that \
case the error message about not being able to lock the database was correct.
As to the file contents: it shows that your file doesn't consist of only zeroes. \
However you left out a large chunk from the start. BTW, even if those are octal \
numbers, they're huge. If I'm not mistaken the part you show starts at about 464Mb \
into the database ... just how large is it?
