Thanks for the link. It seems somewhat safe to use but ill keep backups 
anyway. So far i find that the accounts settings in config files have changed 
from kdepim3 to kdepim4 and authentication does not work when using gmail.

Since i use gmail, that would be the first barrier! :-)
