Um.  If you're using OpenSUSE 10.2, you are also using the dangerously evil 
combination of pilot-link 0.12.1 and kpilot from kde 3.5.5.  You will lose 
data with this combination, unfortunately.  To fix this, your best bet is to 
install kpilot from kde's svn tree (see http://kpilot.org for more details).
