For instance, when I send pm's to local media, I really want it to appear that 
they get a message I composed for them. I do not need/want to expose that 
other local media got the same pm.

Also, some people get really confused when they are not listed as a to field.

Finally, some mailing lists refuse to accept a mailing, unless they are in the 
to list - in some instances it would be great to have this opportinuty.

As the OP, I must hasten to add, that I do not spam anyone.
