at least since kde 3.5.3 (and IIRC since long before), you can schedule events
in korganizer every X days, or every Y weeks etc.. If you create a new event
and go to the recurrence tab, enable recurrence and click on "weekly", you can
specify the number of weeks between events on the right side of the panel where
you can also specify the day of the week for the event.

Are you possibly using an ancient version of kde/korganizer?
