Hi,

Since 2001, according to the bug tracker, kmail users have
been requesting to be able to search mail by date.  Most other
mail systems have this.  This is a gentle request to the
developers not to forget.  This is also a request to users who
agree with me to vote for these bugs/wishes:

76068   Searching based on a variable, esp. relative date/time
87073 	searching mail by date/time 	
122209 	Kmail should Search by date and age
