having googled a bit on this i can't seem to find a definitive answer,
can i use ldap to store my address book on the same server as my imap server
and still edit and add contacts using kaddressbook on another machine?
if so, what version of progs do i need, i currently have kmail 1.6.1, kde 3.2
in mandrake 10.0
what i'm aiming for is to use kmail etc. on my workstation and have
squirrelmail on the imap server for when i'm away from home, all using the
one addressbook (i know there is a squirrelmail ldap plugin)
