Actually you should upgrade to KDE 3.3 as soon as it's available because 
in KDE 3.2.x the groupware functionality isn't really that usable.

Use your own account.

Probably not much. The Kolab functionality in KDE 3.2.x wasn't 
completed.

In KDE 3.3 you will be able to send/receive invitations to/from Outlook. 
If Apple Ical is compatible with Outlook then it should also be 
possible to send/receive invitations to/from Apple Ical.

Sharing folders with Outlook is currently not possible. It will be 
possible in combination with a Kolab 2.0 server (www.kolab.org).
