That sounds very funny especially if I look at the current situation with 
apps.kde.com.

It provides Quality control and much less work for us.

Well, as I said they give us the templates. I agree about the advertising 
point but its very hard to find only kde-friendly ads especially when all the 
big players favor, advertise and use GNOME.

No. Its already too much work, and I don't know anyone who wants to review and 
maintain the php code. 

Doing such an app listing is already too much work, and unless somebody is 
providing help then we'll (have to) go the way of the least work for us.
