I need to restrict the number of colours used by KDE to
ensure there are at least 64 colour slots left for
applications (to prevent switching to a private map).
I had one reply previously but it didn't seem quite right.


Also a stupid question but were did the controls go that allow
you to redefine the behaviour of the window frame buttons
(dor/square/X for minimize/maximize/kill) I want windows to
maximize vertically only.....



Is there a way to limit KDE2s colour usage, the  reply below
doesn't seem relevant.

On my system there is control-center:lookandfeel:colours and
then no mention of low colour usage.

Any thoughts ? thanks matt
