Subject:    Kdm shutdown box off focus for mouse

Everytime I logout of KDE and I chose shutdown,
all the selections are off focus for my mouse,
only the keys on the keyboard will work. If I
quickrestart the Xserver with the keyboard and
then shutdown it works fine. it seems to happen
only when I login to KDE, work for awhile and
then logout. Has anyone had this problem before?
I have tried many distro's Redhat, Slackware,
all of them does the same.

Is this a known problem?
