Netscape 4.x has an option to export your addressbook. all you do is choose 
the name of the new file and it saves it with the .ldif extension.
Assuming you have 2.1.1 (2.1 also ?)then in your menu ->Utilities->Kmail 
Import and follow the instructions.
Voila import finished.
