Hello.

I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 laptop running SuSE 7.1 with KDE 2.1.1. I've
noticed that after I wake it from suspend mode sound doesn't work in KDE. I
saw somewhere (i think it was artsd control) an error message saying that
artsd was started manually or something similar. Anyway, if I logoff and
login again (not shutdown, just logoff) then the sound works fine.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Also, I noticed that they rate
at which keys repeat is very small after suspend. As if it just resets itself
to the lowest value. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
alex
