That seems to become a RAQ (Regularly Asked Question ;-) )

So here we go:

just download your preferred theme(s), unpack it and copy the contents 
of the pixmap directory to:

~/.kde2/share/apps/kstyle/pixmaps 

and the themerc file to

~/.kde2/share/apps/kstyle/themes


or (for system wide use) to:

$KDEHOME/share/apps/kstlye/pixmaps
$KDEHOME/share/apps/kstyle/themes

with $KDEHOME set to your kde2 location (e.g. /opt/kde2)
