There is Everybuddy, which is compatible with AIM, ICQ and I think Yahoo
messenger.  You can find it at www.everybuddy.com   It's not as good as
GAIM, but it gets the job done, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't require any
GNOME libs.

Why is there no AIM client for KDE?  Normally I just use ICQ but sometimes
it
crashes and I can't log back in.  I know there is GAIM, but I don't have ANY
gnome libs installed, and Im a big QT fan.
