To try to avoid asking off-topic questions, I need to ask y'all an off-topic
question :-) What are the best one or two lists to be on to learn and ask
about Linux-related issues, from soup to nuts -- and especially for relative
Newbies?
E.g. I have questions at present about networking my Linux box together with
two Windows machines and about linking the resultant mini-LAN to the Internet
using a dual-analog hookup (two-phone lines, two modems, but one "pipe," so to
speak). I've poked around on different sites for the information, but haven't
solved my problems, and would like to find a list, like this one, to which I
could subscribe and to which I could ask the necessary questions to solve my
problems here -- and be able to ask the next set of problems (like what is
wrong with my Vim configuration?) of the same list.
TIA
Cheers!
Mike Green
