Maybe I am misunderstanding both of you, but the above page doesn't have
to be searched much.

Simply while using KFM go to Help->contents, and once there click on the
place that says "How can I link a URL to the desktop?" which, if you are
trying to create a link to a URL (I am not sure that was the original
problem, I missed that post) should be rather natural!

How did you guys manage to find help on windows? ;-) I mean, it's more or
less the same thing, isn't it?
