I am new to Linux, and have installed Red Hat Linux 6.0 with KDE 1.1
Magnavox 14" Super VGA Color Monitor Model CM9079964T Serial 11878612
Graphics Card Oak Tech. Inc. OTI VGA BIOS VGA 1990 DV2.15-35

It looks great, but I have a serious problem:
Some of the windows are larger than the screen, and I can't get to the lower
portion of the window.
These screens are not sizable. Since the KDE Control panel section for
adjustments is one of these
screens I can do nothing there.

Ctrl-Alt-<keypad + and -> have no effect.

In XF86Config is: Modeline "640x480" 25.175 640 664 760 800 480 491 493 525

Would changing any of these figures help?
I tried using xvidtune, but got the message that adjustments are not
supported by my hardware configuration.
Hsync reported as 31.46KHz Vsync 59.93Hz

I realize that this is an old board. Maybe it can't be used with this
system?

I have Windows 98 on the same machine, and it does not have this problem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

TIA,

Don Oliver
