when u install windows after linux ,windows overwrites LILO in the MBR(master boot \
record) so what you need to do now is pop in your linux cd again and uncheck all the \
options in the INSTALL PACKAGES window .it will reinstall the kernel and then \
LILO..this is what i usually do if it happens to me. kush
How to get rid of Lilo safely. I cant get a dos window. I want to install AutoCAD \
and it requires me to be able to get to a REAL DOS screen, not virtual dos. No matter \
what I do, I go thru Lilo. Whether I use boot disk, whatever. In fact i think system \
just ignores boot disk now. walt
