Subject:    Spurrious Keyboard Input? Please Help!

I am running KDE1.1 and am getting a quote character repeatedly show up
in the input areas.  For example:  If I open a terminal window and let it set
a while I will see a whole bunch of single quote characters building up
like ''''''''''.  I am not sure if it is KDE or a driver.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?  Any input area
on the screen seems to receive these single quote characters
every so often.
