If I do that I obtain:
/bin/sh: cd: /usr/local/kde/lib/: No such file or directory
I think the problem is that I don't have the
libraries. Isn't it?

I have done a locate for those files, and I obtain
nothing with 2 exceptions:
# locate libjpeg.so
/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libjpeg.so.6a
/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libjpeg.so.6a.0.0
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6a
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6a.0.0
/usr/lib/mozilla/libjpeg.so
# locate libjpeg.so.6
/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libjpeg.so.6a
/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libjpeg.so.6a.0.0
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6a
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.6a.0.0

I obtain:
# ldconfig -v | grep peg
libjpeg.so.6a => libjpeg.so.6a.0.0
libmpeg.so.1 => libmpeg.so.1.2.2
libjpeg.so.6a => libjpeg.so.6a.0.0

I obtain nothing when I locate these libs.
