Hi

Kpackage just won't behave on my system.
When I run it, it comes up with "Cann't read RPM config files"
It will then read a list of RPMS from my redhat CD, but it
flatly refuses to install anything:
"cannot open /var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm
Kpackage needs to be running as root"

Of course, it just so happens that I am running as root, and there
doesn't seem to be anything wrong with packages.rpm
(command line rpm works just fine)

Any ideas?

Ta muchly
