From kde-user Sun May 30 17:55:05 1999 From: Chris Russell Date: Sun, 30 May 1999 17:55:05 +0000 To: kde-user Subject: Kpackage Woes X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-user&m=92808660432437 Hi Kpackage just won't behave on my system. When I run it, it comes up with "Cann't read RPM config files" It will then read a list of RPMS from my redhat CD, but it flatly refuses to install anything: "cannot open /var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm Kpackage needs to be running as root" Of course, it just so happens that I am running as root, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with packages.rpm (command line rpm works just fine) Any ideas?
