Hi All,

I have partly solved this. I found in the Help

2.6 Look

KFM gives you control over the look of your directories. If it finds a
.kde.html or index.html file in your directory it displays it ( can be
turned off ). 
...^^^^^^^^^^.........................................^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I have removed the index.html, but where can this feature be turned
off???
