the only place i found kbuilder was in cvs. apparently, kbuilder development
is continuing under another name - GUiDE. here is part of a message from
kde-devel:

------------------------------------------------
I forward this from Jorge Monteiro <jomo@casema.net>, since he
can't post to kde-devel:

Hi All,

There is a great confusion arround KBuilder, I'm writing here to clarify
some of this confusion.

First KBuilder didn't stopped, there were 3 persons working on KBuilder:
me, Peter Grobarcik and Ken Hollis.

Last month I decided to get out of the KBuilder project because of
unfair
distinctions between the 3 developers and the strong position of Ken to
maintain the "Bitgate Software" logo with which I don't identify myself.
Ken got disapointed with this since I was contributing a lot to KBuilder

and he immediately dropped the KBuilder home page and emailed me saying
the project was dead.
This is not true anymore, I asked Ken to continue the project and he his
working on it. So, KBuilder is still being developed by Ken Hollis and
his currently named GUiDE.
I'm very happy he decided to continue the project because KBuilder is
already functional and is good. Anyone that wishes to contribute to
KBuilder should send him an email.

In the meantime me, Peter Grobarcik (the other developer of KBuilder),
Johannes Sixt (from Kdbg) , Markus Wuebben and Mathias Hoelzer (from the

KDE Project) started a new IDE named KodeKnight. This IDE will be
functional in a few months (I hope) and will be great :) Again anyone
that wants to help should contact any of us ;).

KDE needs at least one good IDE, but if it has 2 would anyone be sad?
Competition is healthy and I think the result of both KodeKnight and
GUiDE will greatly improve the K Desktop Environment.

KodeKnight currently misses CVS and a mailing list, I will try to obtain
both from the KDE Project. The current code is available in my home page
at http://www.casema.net/~jomo. Don't rush to this web site to download
it unless you want to help. The current code isn't worth downloading :(

As soon as a there is something worth downloading I'll post a mail in
kde-announce.
