Howdy,

I got this mail on the kde-usability list, and it's timely, because I've
been fooling around try to get i18n to work in KDE 2.2. As I'm using a US
English version of Mandrake 8.0, I haven't set any LANG or LOCALE variables,
so adding additional languages only seems to take effect in KHelpCenter.
Anything you guys to do make this more transparent is much appreciated.

While I'm at it, I'll hit you with a question: Presently I'm wrestling with
the fact that KDM 2.2 doesn't use xdm scripts, so things like .Xmodmap, which
appeared in startkde under mdk are no longer sourced. Where do you source
these things?

Cheers,

Eric
