Hello :)

But if I understand you correctly, its not really a console usability problem (after \
all, it can only display what the programmes it runs tells it to display).

Its more a rpm usability problem. What I think you want is for the *default* \
behaviour of rpm to include the -v option. (You could possibly even do this in you \
.bashrc, but thats another story.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood you though!
