yes, I know.....duuuh. There's a big link on the site that says FAQ. Well \
anyway.....:) Jaap Vermeulen <jacoplane@yahoo.com> wrote:
Hi all,
I just joined the list, so ll tell a bit about myself. I'm a 2md year student at the \
university of amsterdam, studiying SWI. Some of my first year courses included HCI, \
Software Engineering, Cognition, Java, and I also did some usability reports for some \
websites as projects. Prior to that I studied computer science for a year at the \
university of warwick, but I decided all that math & algorithm analysis wasn't for me \
:) . Anyway I thought helping out the KDE Usability project would be a good way to \
get some "real" experience, as I've found that doing work for school isn't allways \
the most motivating :)
I've checked out http://usability.kde.org/ , and \
http://kdeusability.sourceforge.net/index.php . It seems there's not much to be found \
there at the moment, however. I'd be grateful if someone could point me towards other \
sources, or could maybe explain what is currently being worked on. I'm sorry for \
asking newbie questions, but I couldn't find a FAQ anywhere :P
