Hello all,

I just thought I would give an update with what is going on with the
KDE Usability Study.

OK first of all...I have been hacking at the site and so far the
following are working:

 - News system
 - Updates system
 - Links system
 - Question documentation system [partial]
 - Question API [partial]

Basically my plan is to build an API of questions which can be used to
form questionnaires and studies on a variety of subjects. These
questions are modelled into an API (with segragated include files).

Once I have got the initial API ready, I will publish it so people can
send in questions and modify other questions. At the moment the API is
hard coded and the docs are in the database, but I am considering
merging them for easier updating.

I have also coded the site so that it is completly easy to move from
one site to another...this was forward thinking prepering for the day
usability.kde.org will probobly come up.

Anyway, things are progressing well (even with all this Uni work!), and
you should see the API dripping by as time progresses. Just keep an eye
on the updates and news page at
http://kdeusability.sourceforge.net/index.php.

One other thing: I am wanting to put on the site (1) a statistics
generator, and (2) a discussion board. Any suggestions for suitable PHP
based software to do this?

	Jono
