Looks like someone broke it recently(in kdelibs), I think there was an
issue before... you can see that the cursor changes when you hold the
middle click..the cursor is supposed to change to something that looks
like a cross...this was likely accidental, as we were trying to
preserve the behaviour and had to do some work to do so.
