BTW, a Kopete notification has been displayed while I wrote my last email but
I haven't had time to read it, it disapeared.

This is not the first time that arrive to me.
And I'm sure it arrived to others.
Sometimes it's when I leave the computer alone :-) for some minutes but I hear
the notification and when I go back to the computer I would want to know what
was the notification.

Can we have some sort of notification history mechanism?

Like hovering the Kopete systray icon would display a list of the last n
messages in the tooltip.

Perhapse this is needed KDE-wide, for KDE 4!

For instance, I get mails in KMail but I can't read the whole notification at
right time.
Reading the last message in the tooltip would allow to know if I got an email
in the folder I'm waiting for an email...

Or is this useless because in the exemples given above we just can open the
Kopete contactlist or message window and the KMail main window to know what I
want to know?
