I have heard the "skilled hand" argument before - I must confess usually by
right handers wondering why I play the guitar the wrong way round. Of course
when I point out them that their logic is tautologous - that they too should
play the guitar the other way round, they tend to look blankly at me.

More seriously, though, I have informally observed that there is a spectrum of
handedness and I am definitely hard left (apolitically speaking). Perhaps
there are not many of us hard lefties but simple things such as making
kettles and irons non-handed have made my life much less clumsy.

As I said I would, I've gone on to bugs as a wish list item. I'd really be
interested in helping create a lefthanded KDE option.

I can contribute hard work but not much useful current coding experience - but
will happily undertake research, testing, documentation, "junior jobs",
stuff.

Is there a coder out there interested in this and what preliminary actions
might they require from someone like me?
