Fedora has it preinstalled (so do SuSE and Mand* and probably others)
Debian seems to fall outside of the demographic anyway.
Ubuntu allows you to install it using apt-get [1], which is the default way
of installing things.
Just installationsupport does not really seem a good reason to not use an
existing piece of software in this case.
