You organise your menus and your applications better first ;). It's really that \
simple - first and foremost. Whatever find mechanisms there are you're always going \
to have to fall back on some organisational menu layout. Then think about something \
different........

The problem is that people are thinking about the "Oh My God" it's a menu angle. What \
is the menu for? Essentially it's a list of applications that you can choose from to \
run, not unlike any other kind of list, and as such it can be queried. The problem \
is, you're still not really going to be able to find anything unless you know what it \
is, or more precisely, what its name is. I hope you guys trundle along with that \
Tenor framework because there are possibilities everywhere ;).

Menu organisation is important, but let's face it, when you have more applications \
installed on your system you end up with a program menu that covers even high \
resolution screens like the Amazon rain forest (Windows Start Menu). It just doesn't \
get any better no matter how well you organise it, and it needs a solution.

If anyone has a Mac, how does Apple approach this problem? I had heard that they had \
some sort of app launcher thingy. Of course I could be wrong, I haven't used a Mac in \
years, poor me.

Cheers,

David
