the kmenu isnt a master list of all the applications available to the
user.  if a user cant find an application it could be for one of two
reasons: 1) its too hard to find hidden in the kmenu, or 2) its not in the
kmenu.

o shouldnt this kind of widget be broader than the kmenu? not every
package remembers to install an app to the menu.  if a user installs a
non-kde app and it doesnt get added, shouldnt they be able to find it in
this widget?
