I think that sounds good. It's neither a good idea to throw in code changes in 
the last minute.

Also, these matters easily boils down to ranting("I don't like the new look!" 
"Me neither!" "Me neither!" "But I do!" "And I do!"), what's really 
interesting is if people manages to in a scientific way pull the design to a 
conscious level, such that the design is as it is for /more/ reasons than 
that a certain group of people at a certain moment in time found it pretty.

For example, let's say someone post 3.4 wrote a little paper, with references 
to "A Mathematical Theory of Interface Aesthetics"[1] and similar 
backgrounds, attempting to prove why the new proposed design/color is the 
Right Way, combined with a patch which implemented it, then... I think it 
would be more fruitful. Perhaps.
