Hello Everybody:

I've been a KDE user for a long time and I think that it is time to give back
something to de community.

I am actually living in México and the truth here, as in many places in LA, is
that almost everybody uses GNOME. In México it could be because Miguel de
Icaza is mexican... But essentialy I think that it is because of the lack of
documentation in spanish.

The current KDE spanish translation is the Spain spanish one. It is not very
different but it is sufficiently different to make many people complain here.
I am currently working with some people on this problem.

Another issue is about developer documentation. Again, KDE has some
documentation, but there is a lot to write and translate at the moment.

I happen to be someone very interested on HCI, so one of the first things that
I thought about was translating the HIG documentation, Usability Report
templates, etc... Perhaps with this, some tutorials I have in mind and the LA
i18n we could get more latin american developers on KDE... (As far as I know,
there are about two official developers in Chile... And that's all.)

So... Is there any place in kde-usability for Spanish translations?
I could start right now... What do you say?

Thanks for your time!
