here's my boilerplate rant on this:

the usability list is not a place for feature requests, bug report promotion, 
etc. it is a place (in theory, anyways) to discuss usability development 
within KDE. yes, the above is vaguely related to usability but it is not 
appropriate on this list.

we are gaining great traction amongst the developers for usability right now. 
SUSE/Novell has even sent one of their primary usability people to aKademy to 
work with us, and people like Matthias Ettrich of Trolltech fame are actively 
engaging me in usability related conversations.

if we wish to make kde-usability@kde.org a place that is both useful and 
appropriate to developers in the project, we absolutely MUST improve the 
signal/noise ratio on this list and we MUST stay on track and on topic.

please, help us out here, ok?
