The left panel is too verbose. It needs at least some separators to  
distinguish between the very different items of searching, mount points,  
and recent locations.

Also, the way you have it now, the recent locations cannot be read at a  
glance and must be clicked on. Instead, you should put a label, in small  
text, above the recent locations which says "Recent Places," then remove  
the Recent Location prefix which currently is on every single item.

I would put labels on each of the three categories just to make it easier  
for the user.
