Great! And so far the best solution.
I think if we do this with Home and Up-One-Level buttons we also should 
this with back and forward.
Ad the hard to remember problematic: we could avoid this by simply 
showing the path in a tooltip or, I think a better (?) way, would be to 
show the (last) directory in the current file view, but with focus 
around it to make it more clearly.

So you see I'd like it to be a powerful way to move files and some kind 
of equal to the "Copy/Send to" menus.
